14- Conclusion

You have reached the final chapter of my introductory guide to Bitcoin.
First of all: thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
You see, at the end of the day, we are both in the same situation: we are at the very beginning of our journeys.
My path as a Bitcoin educator starts now, as I publish this.
And so does your adventure: you are well on your way to transform from a “normie” to a Bitcoiner.

I am sincerely hoping I managed to inspire you.
No, I did not mean to “convince” you, indoctrinate you, nor have I tried to “sell you something”.
My sole purpose was to simply ignite a spark within you, so that you may take your first steps towards what I believe is a better life: one where you fully understand the meaning of value, money, and where you are able to break free from an oppressive system.

This is what Bitcoin can do for you.
What started as an innocent and totally legit “I want to make money” becomes a genuine intellectual and practical effort to try and make the world a better place.
Bitcoiners are indeed special people, often involved and interested in several areas other than mere finance.
Once you truly grasp “fix the money, fix the world”, your life, and maybe even that of the people around you, may seriously improve.
You will become a better saver, a more conscious consumer, a thoughtful individual: someone who’s greatly concerned about health, wellbeing, and knowledge.

Will we succeed? Or will our mission fail? Who knows.
I may never make it, and you may not actually become a Bitcoiner.
But hey, we both tried, at least.
The way is long, filled with doubt, inner struggles, and moments where you will want to give up. It’s a very tall mountain you are attempting to climb.
I invite you to keep on educating yourself, if you want to get to the top.
And once you think you got there; that’s when you realize it was just a false summit. The real one was much, much higher: it was only shrouded in mist.

My guide is but the first step. Listen to podcasts, watch videos, engage with other Bitcoiners online. Even if you have no idea what they are saying: just get into it.
One day it will all make sense, if you persevere.
Bitcoin has the power of making you feel like an absolute idiot until it clicks. The “eureka moment”, the epiphany: when you will finally “get it”, instead feeling like a genius, and you will want to tell everyone about this wonderful invention called Bitcoin.
That’s actually my story in a nutshell.

I have done this entirely because of my passion for this product. I am not making a single dollar off of it. I spent countless hours writing down the chapters: 5 months of hard work, every evening, once I came back from my “real job”.
And I am not expecting any sort of praise or anything of the sort.
My only hope is that this has been useful to you in some way.
If I manage to “create” even a single new Bitcoiner, I won, and my purpose will have been achieved.

In the movie “The Matrix”, the protagonist Neo is faced with a tough decision.
He is being offered two pills: a blue one, and a red one.

Taking the blue pill will result in no visible change: Neo’s life would stay the same. A “comfortable lie”, a blissful state of ignorance, just as it ever was.
He would stay inside the matrix: a universe, the “real world”, built of deceit, lies, corruption.
But Neo, just like the majority of us, would not oppose it. He would not fight it.
Instead, he would comply: head down, no complaints; just an uneventful life waiting to be carried out.

The red pill, on the other hand, would make Neo instantly aware of his reality.
It’s a painful realization, but one that would set him free, ultimately.
He will exit the “old world”, only to enter one where justice and truth are the foundations of the new reality. He now sees everything with clarity, and he knows he’s been lied to all along. He’s enlightened, he transcended his consciousness, once he escaped the system.

Bitcoin is the orange pill.
If you take it, you can say goodbye to the unfair world of fiat, where money is used as a tool to control the world.
You can embrace a new paradigm: a dimension where inflation does not exist, and money empowers people, allowing them to build a better future.
It won’t be easy, though, and you will have to undergo a strenuous path: to give up most of your pre-existing notions will test your spirit, but it’s certainly worth the effort.

You don’t have to, however.
You can ignore the orange pill: you can reject it, calling it a “scam”. You may continue to live your life in the realm of fiat, and nothing would change.
Or you could decide to finally open your eyes and take part in a great revolution.

The choice is yours: which pill will you take?
